Hafiz Choudhury

Hafiz Choudhury has over 25 years experience in tax policy and administration operations worldwide – with an emphasis on International Taxation.  A former Director with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD), Hafiz possesses extensive experience in the research arena of international tax administration.   IBFD is a leading provider of international tax expertise, books, services and training to Government Organizations, Tax Advisors, and Corporate Clients.  Most recent, Hafiz served as the General Editor of the UN Transfer Pricing Manual.  In addition, he served on the editorial board for the Journal of International Taxation.  He also served as a Technical program management of indirect tax policy reform conference in Asia Pacific region and a similar program in Middle East/North Africa region.  Hafiz experience range from making assessments of tax administration efficiency, advising on BPR and change management, to appropriate information technology to enhance overall efficiency.  Hafiz holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from   an MA in International Relations/Economics.
